The basic function and role of 1. reel
Coiling and unrolling: The coiler with tension reel is not only used for coiling rolled parts, but also for unrolling rolled parts when needed. This function is particularly important in reversible or irreversible cold-rolled steel sheet or strip rolling line.
Generate and maintain tension: In the rolling process, the coiler needs to maintain the pre-tension and post-tension of the rolled piece to ensure the stability of the rolling process, make the coil tighter, and control the direction of the rolled piece when feeding into and out of the roll.
Reduce the rolling pressure: Relying on these tensions, the pressure acting on the roll during rolling can be reduced, and the warping of the strip steel can be reduced, thereby improving the surface quality of the strip steel.
Working principle of 2. reel
